For teachers, getting a student excited about learning is the ultimate joy and satisfaction. Students retain lasting memories of teachers that made an impression. Making something relatable and interesting is a skill the best teachers have, and they thrive when the students do. However, not all students learn and absorb information in the same way, and sometimes even the best teachers will have trouble communicating a concept, idea or lesson. Another Postcard Day

I sent another set of postcards today. It’s a total of 15 postcards, 12 is for official while the other 3 is for private swap. I hope to received a few postcard this week.

I also put the boys account Inactive since we are about to go to US within two months. I can’t believed how time flies ,I thought we still have lots of time here but what do you know, it’s time for us to go. I will re activate their account once we settle back in US again,and I think it’ll be earlier next year.

Independent living in america is always encourage,though it is sounds like freedom for many but not for some,specially if you have special physical needs or for senior citizen. As much as possible, members of the family are trying their best to make life a lot easier for those who have special needs and installing an stairlift at home is one of those things that needs to be done.

Not only it is convinient for the person who needs it,but also for other people who live with them because it lessen the help that they needed from time to time. Also, it gives a feeling of independent as well knowing that they could do things on their own,like going up and down to a stair when other take it for granted,but for people with disability,it’s a day to day battle with their disability.

School Budget

I already said it and I will say it again.Education which is used to be free is now the most expensive. Education is like a business and some idiotic parents are buying it. I mean, unless you are a Manny Pacquiao,then I will not question you if you prefer to send your kinder student, yes, kinder student,to a school that will cost you Php100,000.00 a year.I mean,come’on! seriously!!!!

I don’t get the idea why some parents think that the expensive they are,the best education they could get.Like there’s an unseen competition that if your kids are in expensive school,then they are the smartest or the best. First and foremost, school could only teach the same curriculum from the Department of Educaiton, advance,yes,with nice facilities and advance teaching tools,but paying Php50k-100k for elementary education,or even for a kinder,I personally think is a big joke.

And let us talk about public school. Yes,enrollment is free. but once the school start, you will spend an average of at least php100 a day with so many things that you need to buy,from lousy zerox copy that cost P1/each,then print,then project,then you have to pay for the test papers and so on and so fort..I mean,does this teacher even realized that the reason why these students are in public school because they have no means to spend much and then they will bombarded them with projects here and there?

I hope parents will be more practical this time.

Music Lesson During Summer

My son,Patrick ,wanted to continue his music leasson next this comming summer. I already inform his dad to check the jay turser guitar at Guitar Center because he seems like more interested to learn how to play the electrical guitar rather than accoustic. Though it’s quite pricey,but I know it’ll be worth it because I know he is really interested to it.

I sure hope that he will choose music lesson rather than joining any sport activity.

My Stationery

I used to collect cute and sweet looking stationery like this back when I was in elementary thru high school.Together with those colorful little pad and other cute girlie stuff that hs students love. I gave up all my collection to my niece when I moved to US more than ten years ago,but unfortunately,when I came back to the Phils, I found out that it was all gone because of the flood.

Then, few days ago, I went to buy a postcards and I saw some neat looking stationery,but unlike the stationery that I used to collect which was scented and smells really really sweet,this stationery,though it looks so beautiful,with it’s pastel color that added sweetness as to how it looks,this one smell nothing,but that doesn’t stop me from buying a bunch of pieces. I gave a few to my niece and encourage her to start colleting it as well. I might buy some more next time.

Now,I am thinking of using this stationery to,maybe wrote a love letter to hubby,but I’m not evensure if I still know how.

It’s Good To Be Back!

It’s good be be back! For almost a month,I do not have my own internet connection at home. Not because of the internet per se but because of my laptop. I have to rely on my blackberry playbook and celphone from time to time to get connected. It’s where I check my email and everything and if there’s some work that needs to be done, I need to go to internet shop so I could work properly. Just like what I did when I recieved my garmin astro 320 assignment,thankfully, there are so many internet shop here in our area and it’s not really hard to find one,but of course, nothing beats the feeling of working at the comfort of your own home at your own computer.

Thank God that everything is not back to normal.

One of the most fun part of blogging is being able to attend events and meet new friends with the same passions as you. And this photo on the newspaper today is another reason why I love doing those. Mind you that when a blogger have to attend an events, you are on your own.I mean, there’s no compensation in anyway,all your expenses must be from your own pocket,not to mentioned the time,but like I said, I usually attend the events because it’s fun and for the experience. It’s my way of socializing specially that I work at home.

By the way,the photo above was from the event that I and Kendrick attended last Monday,he’s not on the picture because we was busy playing on his tablet. After the event,we went to the mall to buy audio-technica ath-m30,thankfully,it was on sale.
